Infectious diseases are the most common disease group in our country and in the world. The department of infectious diseases deals with diseases, some of which may be infectious, caused by bacteria, viruses, and parasites in any part of the body or in any organ, in adults. Microbiology laboratory plays a decisive role in the diagnosis and monitor of infectious diseases. The field of study of microbiology is to diagnose diseases caused by microorganisms, to determine the findings that guide the treatment, to recommend appropriate drugs or strategies for treatment, and to prevent infectious diseases spread.
